Job Opportunity: Research Grants Coordinator

This is a part-time contract position for two years, with the possibility of extension. The role involves working from our office in Chatswood, NSW under a hybrid model that combines on-site and remote work.

You will report directly to the Policy and Advocacy Manager and be responsible for collaborating with our research committee, grants administration team, and staff on various university and research projects. This is not a researcher role, but requires a clear understanding of research and universities.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop, promote, administer, and manage research grants.
  • Ensure effective administration, reporting, and compliance of the Osteopathy Australia Research Foundation.
  • Coordinate administrative support for the Research Committee and their plans, policies, and projects.
  • Work closely with university stakeholders, researchers, and staff to foster relationships and projects in collaboration with Osteopathy Australia.
  • Assist and promote projects benefiting from research, education, or university input.

The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively at all levels in a collaborative team environment, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects or tasks concurrently. Your knowledge will help develop information resources.

Please note that this role does not involve conducting personal research. Instead, you will focus on supporting and coordinating research-related activities.
