As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the creative direction of our graphic design studio. This involves setting the tone for our brand's visual identity and ensuring that all design projects are completed on time and to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities:- Studio Leadership: Maintain process documentation of design processes, decisions, and revisions to ensure knowledge sharing and future reference.
- Resource Allocation: Effectively allocate resources, including assigning tasks to team members based on their strengths and project needs.
- Design Innovation: Lead the exploration and implementation of new design trends, technologies, and methodologies to keep the team at the forefront of the industry.
- Team Development: Provide guidance and support to designers and other team members, fostering their professional growth and skill development.
- Creative Vision: Define and drive the overall creative vision and strategy for projects, ensuring alignment with brand elevation objectives.
- Design Strategy: Develop and execute long-term design strategies and initiatives that support organisational goals and enhance brand identity.
- Brand Identity: Maintain and strengthen brand identity through consistent and effective design solutions.
- Brand Evolution: Lead initiatives to evolve and refresh brand elements as needed to stay relevant and competitive in the market.
- Email Templates: Create email templates and build content directly within Dotdigital to support a segmented approach.
- Dynamic Content: Use dynamic content blocks for personalisation based on data (e.g., customer type, user preferences, past interactions).
- Template Development: Develop or use reusable templates for consistent branding and efficiency in future eDMs.
- Tracking and Analytics: Implement tracking codes or UTM parameters to monitor link performance and measure eDM effectiveness.
- Video Content: Support our video content ambitions by creating professional, engaging, and visually appealing short-form video edits.
About You:
- Qualifications: Degree qualified in Graphic Design.
- Experience: A proven track record in a similar role.
- Skills: Strong organisational and time management skills, including solid attention to detail.
- Software Proficiency: Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, including image editing, retouching, and manipulation, as well as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Canva.
- Communication: Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management.
