Green Space Ambassador

As a volunteer in our garden initiative, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of our residents. You will be responsible for cultivating community and joy by assisting with planting, weeding, watering, and organizing the garden.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate Community and Joy: Bring the garden and spirit to life by engaging with residents and fostering cheerful engagement and shared experiences.
  • Empower Participation and Planning: Support hands-on involvement in gardening and assist in crafting schedules, choosing what grows, when, and where.
  • Promote Safety, Respect, and Inclusion: Create a welcoming space rooted in kindness, dignity, and choice; help maintain tidy and safe garden areas, and work thoughtfully with residents, staff, and volunteers.
Requirements:
  • The ability to engage with empathy, compassion, and in a non-judgmental and respectful manner.
  • Relate well with people from diverse backgrounds.
  • An up-to-date National Police Check and Flu Vaccination Certificate.
