Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Services Assistant, Catering & Cleaning to join our team at the Peterborough Soldiers Memorial Hospital. As a key member of our catering and cleaning team, you will be responsible for providing a high-quality service, ensuring the hospital's facilities are clean and well-maintained, and supporting the delivery of exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare, serve, and deliver food to clients in a timely and efficient manner
  • Conduct general housekeeping duties, including laundry and cleaning of hospital facilities
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve team goals and objectives
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain confidentiality in all interactions
  • Assist with other duties as required to support the smooth operation of the hospital
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a similar role or in a healthcare setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and upholding the highest standards of patient care
