We are seeking a skilled Laundry Assistant to join our team at Regis Birkdale, a leading provider of Aged Care services. As a Laundry Assistant, you will play a vital role in maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene across the residence.

About the Role

  • Assist in the operation of the laundry facility, ensuring all laundry requirements are met each shift.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to provide exceptional service and support to residents and colleagues.
  • Complete reporting and documentation in accordance with Regis policies and procedures.
  • Interact with residents in a friendly, helpful, and positive manner.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a laundry capacity or commercial laundry environment.
  • Previous cleaning experience in a commercial, healthcare, or Aged Care setting.
  • Solid knowledge of cleaning products and safe handling, storage, and disposal of chemicals.
  • Previous experience working with and using cleaning equipment.
  • Clear communication skills, both written and verbal.
