Caregiver for Vulnerable Youth

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team in supporting vulnerable youth in Ipswich and Western Suburbs.
About the RoleAs a Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs. This will involve building strong relationships, creating a safe and nurturing environment, and promoting positive relationships with peers and family members.
You will work closely with our team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for each child or young person. Your role will also involve participating in sleepovers, afternoons, and weekends as required.
To succeed in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a warm and empathetic approach, and a commitment to delivering exceptional care. You must also have an unrestricted driver's license and be willing to transport clients when necessary.
Key Responsibilities- Build and maintain professional relationships with children and young people by engaging them in purposeful activities and promoting positive relationships.
- Act as an appropriate adult role model, encouraging young people to develop life skills and self-worth.
- Support the involvement of family and facilitate positive relationships, tailored to individual needs.
- Promote and encourage positive relationships among peers and other individuals significant to the child or young person.
- Unrestricted (Opens) Drivers Licence (essential)
- Valid Senior First Aid Certificate and CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain prior to commencement)
We offer a competitive hourly rate of $45 + 11% Super + Salary Sacrifice up to $15,900 per year, making it an attractive opportunity for those passionate about caregiving and committed to delivering exceptional results.
