Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to fill the role of Social Inclusion Coordinator in our Victoria North area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting children who may be experiencing vulnerability due to various risk factors and enhancing early childhood outcomes through provision of specialist inclusion advice, support, and coaching to our teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support children with additional needs in centres in Victoria North to ensure they can access and meaningfully participate in early learning.
  • Provide professional learning to Centre Directors, Educators and other staff on inclusive practices in ECEC.
  • Contribute to partnerships with other organisations and government departments to maximise the impact of social inclusion strategies within local communities.

Role Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in an early childhood education and/or health or welfare related discipline.
  • Experience in leading change and delivering inclusive services in an education or healthcare setting.
  • Experience at a senior management level in an early childhood education or healthcare setting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of community and government networks/resources and proven skill in utilising these to develop partnerships, services and programs.
