Support Employment Specialist

The role of the InWork Support Coach is to empower individuals with disabilities, injuries, or health conditions to build better working lives. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with clients to identify their goals and aspirations, building skills and job readiness, and supporting them through interviews and into employment. Your passion for helping people and commitment to making a positive impact will be crucial in ensuring our clients achieve long-term sustainable employment.
About the Position
We are seeking an experienced customer service professional to join our In-Work Support Coach team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year's experience in a customer-facing role, with a proven track record of working with people who overcome challenges. You will be happy and confident liaising with multiple external and internal stakeholders, confident working to KPIs, and committed to making placements that result in sustainable and lasting employment for our clients/employers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all placed clients are supported and contacted regularly;
- Identify areas where alternative or additional training is required and facilitate this support where appropriate;
- Track all placements and maintain up-to-date records;
- Provide on-the-job support to participants and employers to ensure Participants maintain sustainable and ongoing employment;
- Liaise with employers, clients, and other team members to assist clients to maintain their employment;
- Assist with management of claims;
- Escalate risks or concerns through appropriate channels;
