Structural Engineering Job

Career Success Australia collaborates with numerous structural engineering firms to design and execute various structural projects, including bridges, city infrastructure, and large-span structures. This 12-week internship offers an opportunity for entry-level structural engineering graduates to join a team of talented designers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and development across diverse structural engineering projects.
  • Managing site activities, including construction phase inspections and structural assessments.
  • Preparing structural engineering investigations and designs, performing site inspections, and drafting reports.
  • Liaising with supervisors, draftspersons, site managers, steel engineers, architects, and other specialists to deliver projects efficiently.
What You Will Learn:
  • Experience in designing bridges using reinforced, pre-tensioned, and post-tensioned concrete, steel, composite, and timber materials.
  • Working knowledge of state road authority design criteria for bridges.
  • Technical report writing for clients and expertise in using structural design codes and guidelines.
  • Project management skills, including scheduling and managing residential and commercial projects.
