About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Wetland Construction Specialist to join our Construction Team at Balanc Enviro. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the construction and maintenance of our wetland sites across the Melbourne region. The ideal candidate will have experience working outdoors in varying weather conditions and have a passion for environmental conservation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Construct and maintain wetland sites, including preparation of soil, laying jute and planting plants.
  • Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as checking and repairing equipment, and monitoring site conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with the project manager and site supervisors to ensure successful project outcomes.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in outdoor environments, preferably in a wetland or construction setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Basic knowledge of environmental principles and practices, particularly in relation to wetlands and waterways.
