About the Role

Viterra is seeking a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join its maintenance team at its Loxton site.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing operational requirements to ensure plant and equipment is maintained to the highest standard and running efficiently, while focusing on safety.

The role involves implementing and conducting fault finding and repairs to electrical systems, assisting in developing and implementing solutions and strategies to ensure timely and effective response to equipment failures and breakdowns, and performing electrical and mechanical tasks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement and conduct fault finding and repairs to electrical systems.
  • Assist in developing and implementing solutions and strategies to ensure timely and effective response to equipment failures and breakdowns.
  • Perform electrical and mechanical tasks.
  • Work with the Maintenance Supervisor to identify and implement plant improvements and future capital projects.
  • Execute the preventative maintenance program in line with terminal operations.

Requirements

  • An Electrical workers licence Class A (South Australia).
  • Competent in interpreting electrical diagrams.
  • Experience maintaining fixed and mobile plant and equipment is desirable.
  • The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces.
  • Current drivers' licence is essential.
  • A forklift and/or medium rigid licence is highly desirable.
