Job Overview

The Senior Educator serves as a pivotal figure in our Centre Leadership Team, overseeing their own room and guiding a team of dedicated professionals to deliver exceptional educational experiences.

They collaborate closely with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader to observe, inform, and continually improve teaching practices, ensuring that every learning experience meets the diverse needs of all children.

This role requires strong leadership skills, effective communication, and a commitment to providing high-quality education and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operations in their designated room
  • Lead a team of educators to deliver educational programs
  • Collaborate with the Centre Leadership Team and Educational Leader
  • Observe, inform, and continuously improve teaching practices
Requirements
  • Diploma in Early Childhood or equivalent qualification
  • Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
  • Current QLD Working with Children Check/ Blue Card
