Our 2026 Livestock Career Development Program is designed for top talent to gain valuable experience in all aspects of the livestock industry. The program will provide the skills and training you need to be a future leader or technical expert within the livestock sector.

You will have the opportunity to work in both saleyard and branch environments, being mentored and guided by experienced livestock employees and leaders. You will learn effective selling and relationship building techniques, as well as develop your business skills such as compliance, sales and client relationship building, communication, marketing and social media, understanding finance, problem solving and negotiation and leading and managing a team.

In addition, you will demonstrate successful completion of Year 12, worked successfully for a minimum of 24 months within the agricultural industry, ideally within livestock, willingness to relocate at the conclusion or throughout the program, be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or Australian permanent resident, be vaccinated or willing to receive the Q Fever vaccination, ability to work in a team environment, willingness to learn, strong communication and problem-solving skills and leadership potential.
