Job Title: Oral Health Professional

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Oral Health Professional to join our team. As a valued member of our dental team, you will play a vital role in promoting and maintaining the oral health of ADF personnel.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality care in a well-supported clinical environment
  • Perform periodontal charting, root planing, implant maintenance, and other routine procedures
  • Take and interpret prescribed radiographs (intra/extra oral)
  • Promote infection control and maintain surgical hygiene to national standards
  • Manage patient care, referrals, records, bookings, and recalls
  • Support clinical governance, quality improvement activities, and equipment upkeep

Requirements

We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and skills:

  • A recognised qualification in Dental Hygiene (or Oral Health Therapy)
  • Current unconditional and unrestricted registration with AHPRA
  • At least 2 years of experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a clinical setting
  • Proven ability to perform a wide range of dental hygiene procedures independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative team approach
  • High standards in infection control and patient care
