About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' exposure in a similar role, with formal qualifications in a maintenance trade discipline (e.g., fitting & turning) or demonstrated relevant experience. You will possess high attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, including general machining, pneumatics, and fitting techniques. Proficiency in utilizing lathes, mills, drills, and similar equipment is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to the development and delivery of engineered solutions products and equipment;
  2. Assemble and produce various mechanical and specialized engineered solutions products;
  3. Undertake the maintenance, repair, and testing of engineered solutions products;
  4. Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, bill of materials, and written instructions for assembly;
  5. Maintain accurate service records;
  6. Document and supply appropriate and accurate reports to customers of work conducted;
  7. Ensure all production and service work is conducted to required standard and in a timely manner;
  8. Prepare detailed test and quality documents for finished products;
  9. Communicate with the Engineering Production Manager on work status, quality issues, and production improvements;
  10. Apply a compliance-focused mindset across all operations;
  11. Ensure a safety-first approach.
Requirements:
  1. Minimum 2 years' exposure in a similar role;
  2. Formal qualification in a maintenance trade discipline (e.g., fitting & turning) or demonstrated relevant experience;
  3. High attention to detail and mechanical aptitude, including general machining, pneumatics, and fitting techniques;
  4. Proficiency in utilizing lathes, mills, drills, and similar equipment;
  5. Ability to use hand and power tools and heavy-duty equipment;
  6. Pipe bending and tube fitting experience (advantageous);
  7. Experience with technical documentation and drawings to comprehend production and service tasks;
  8. Ability to perform arithmetic engineering calculations;
  9. Proficiency with various computer software, including Microsoft Office suite of applications;
  10. Current Driver's License;
  11. Forklift License (desirable);
  12. Adaptability and readiness to handle multiple, changing priorities in a fast-paced environment;
  13. Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn;
  14. Exemplary understanding of compliance rules, with a proactive mindset and the ability to act as a role model in upholding and promoting compliance standards;
  15. Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, communication, organizational, and task management skills.
