Job Description

As a Senior Tour Accountant, you will be responsible for managing the financial aspects of live tours across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia.

You will work closely with tour managers to deliver accurate financial reporting, forecasting, and budget management throughout tour lifecycles.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing end-to-end tour finances including invoicing, accounts payable/receivable, cash reconciliations, and final settlement reporting
  • Driving financial performance by tracking ticket sales, merchandise, and revenue streams while identifying cost savings and maximizing ancillary income opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with tax regulations and contract terms while preparing for artist and stakeholder audits

By working in this role, you will gain valuable experience in tour accounting and develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Additionally, you will have the opportunity to travel across Australia and New Zealand as tours require.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous tour or project accounting experience
  • 5+ years in a finance role within a commercial organization
  • Intermediate experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Proven ability to present to significant stakeholders
  • Commercial acumen and ability to use that to prioritize various workload items
  • Confidence, attention to detail, and outstanding communication skills
