The company SONITEC is seeking a Senior Front End Engineer with strong Typescript & REACT experience to join the Engineering team.

Responsibilities
  1. System Development: Design and develop the current systems to increase functionality and usability.
  2. Feature Development: Build features and improvements from conceptualisation to realisation, working closely with the software engineering team.
  3. Operational Responsibility: Take operational responsibility for the services and code base that you will develop.
Requirements
  1. Education: BS degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience.
  2. Experience: Between 3 and 5+ years' experience in software development.
  3. Technical Skills: Experience working with at least one modern TypeScript framework, React is ideal. Experience working with two or more from the following: web application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, developing large software systems, and/or security software development.
  4. API Experience: Experience using REST APIs.
  5. Microservices Experience: Experience developing microservices infrastructure is ideal.
  6. Start-up Experience: Previous 'start-up' or 'scale-up' experience is favourable.
  7. Infrastructure Experience: Familiar with Docker, Postman, GitLab, AWS is favourable.
  8. Lifelong Learning: You are a lifelong learner. You're self-taught and continuously learning.
  9. Current Best Practices: You are interested in keeping up with current best practices in your areas of expertise.
  10. Infrastructure Familiarity: You are experienced working with modern infrastructure and tools.
  11. Linux Experience: You are comfortable running your software in Linux environments.
  12. Sound Engineering Practices: You know and care about sound engineering practices like continuous delivery, defensive programming, and automated testing.
  13. Distributed Systems: You're familiar with designing and building distributed and scalable systems.
  14. Ambition and Motivation: An abundance of ambition and motivation to grow the company and compete with the big players in the industry.
