Within the Group Financial Reporting & Analysis team, this role provides financial support to the CEO, CFO, Executive Leadership Team, and Board. The areas of focus include:

  1. Investment Reporting & Analysis - supports the Group with reporting and analysis on their strategic investments portfolio, used for strategic decision making and operational excellence.
  2. Performance Reporting - performance analysis, monthly management reporting for the Group, and Profit Announcement reporting to shareholders.
  3. Planning and Forecasting – ownership of the Group's Planning & Forecasting process, strategic and ad-hoc analysis.
  4. Decision Support – strategic projects, insight development, and ad-hoc analysis.

This position will assist in delivering the strategic agenda for FR&A. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Monthly investment spend reporting including key business metrics and insights for senior management.
  2. Ad-hoc analysis of project delivery workforce and allocation of funding with a focus on optimisation.
  3. Assisting in the preparation of external results reporting on the investment portfolio.
  4. Reporting on the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment portfolio and resources.
  5. Assisting in the preparation of Annual Operating Plans and Quarterly Business Review memos.
  6. Process improvement/automation of processes to streamline work.
  7. To provide independent review of strategic equity investments and advice to the Group CFO.
  8. Engaging with people across various parts of the Group; stakeholder management and communication skills are paramount in this role.
  9. Presenting to Finance Working Group and other senior stakeholders across the organisation.
  10. Operational responsibilities required for the smooth functioning of the Investment Reporting and Analysis team, as well as pro-actively contributing to long-term value creation for the Group.
  11. Part of and contributing to a strong and vibrant team culture.
  12. People manager for 2 direct reports.
