**Job Summary**

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Retail Sales Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, inspiring and educating customers on pet care and products, and contributing to a fun and supportive work environment.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring memorable and meaningful interactions with customers.
  • Inspire and educate customers on the best care and products for their pets, utilizing your knowledge and expertise.
  • Complete sales transactions, aiming to reach set store sales goals and contribute to the success of the store.
  • Work collaboratively with team members to maintain a clean and well-organized store environment, ensuring all products are displayed and available for customers.
  • Stay up-to-date on pet care, products, and services, and share your knowledge with customers and colleagues.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, fostering a culture of teamwork and camaraderie.
  • Demonstrate a strong safety mindset, prioritizing the well-being of customers, colleagues, and pets.

**Requirements**

  • A passion for animals and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Experience in a similar retail environment, preferably in the pet care industry.
  • Demonstrated drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and rapport with customers and colleagues.
  • Physical fitness, with the ability to lift products up to 20kg.
  • Flexibility and ability to work weekends and public holidays.
