About the Role

CPC Engineering is seeking a skilled Trades Assistant to join our team of professionals in the construction and maintenance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist tradespeople in their activities and duties across a wide range of areas, including boiler-making, fitting, scaffolding, and general labouring duties.
  • Perform scheduled maintenance, where required.
  • Carry out designated tasks as outlined by your manager, supervisor, leading-hand, or other tradespeople.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an engineering or mining environment.
  • Year 10 or equivalent schooling.
  • Mechanical trade assistant experience.
  • A level of proficiency in a range of maintenance activities.
  • Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.
  • Able to pass Medical and Drug & Alcohol tests.
  • Practical communication and team building abilities.
  • Relevant computer literacy.
  • Ability to work in remote locations.
  • Current WA drivers' license. A HR License would be advantageous, although not essential.
