  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Supports the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software throughout the end-to-end lifecycle to meet industry, customer, safety, and regulation standards.

  • Assists with reviewing, analyzing, and translating customer requirements into initial software product designs.

  • Develops, maintains, enhances, and optimizes software products and functionality for systems integration.

  • Supports developing, documenting, and maintaining architectures, requirements, algorithms, interfaces, and designs for software products.

  • Supports debugging and resolving issues identified to ensure the reliability and efficiency of software products.

  • Participates in handling user inquiries, troubleshooting technical issues, and user feedback analysis.

  • Supports implementing current and emerging technologies, tools, frameworks, and changes in regulations relevant to software development.

  • Supports developing, establishing, monitoring, and improving software processes, tools, and key performance metrics that align projects with organizational goals and industry benchmarks.

  • Supports executing and documenting software research and development projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong object-oriented design, C++, and Python skills.

  • Knowledge or experience in autonomous systems, electronic warfare, electronic sensors & sensor integration, messaging protocols, and data exchange.

  • Prior experience using Computer Generated Forces (CGF) simulation applications, including open simulation standards like DIS and HLA.

  • Past experience in software development for Defence software applications is desirable.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, and/or Electrical Engineering.
