About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cost and Schedule Analyst to join our team at Thales Australia. As a key member of our project management team, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful execution of our projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain Earned Value Management data for project schedules.
  • Ensure accurate representation of work progress and control for deviations.
  • Maintain project management artifacts (e.g., WBS, OBS, RAM).
  • Implement and maintain the EVM system and analyze variances.
  • Plan and schedule work using tools like Primavera.
  • Prepare inputs for monthly PMO reporting and customer deliverables.
  • Drive the development and maintenance of the Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB).
  • Support Risk & Opportunities assessments.
  • Foster a cooperative working relationship within the team.
  • Assist with financial data analysis and support junior team members.
Requirements
  • Qualification in Business or Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Knowledge of project management lifecycle.
  • Proficiency in EVM system tools (e.g., Cobra).
  • Experience with Primavera and scheduling tools.
  • Basic knowledge of schedule health checks.
  • Scheduling expertise in PERT and CPM analysis.
  • Financial and budgetary control experience.
  • Technical understanding of the project domain (desirable).
  • Experience in the development project engineering lifecycle (desirable).
  • Australian Citizenship to be eligible for clearance.
