Job Title: Industrial Roller Shutter Door Installer/Repairer

Metro Rollers requires a full-time roller shutter installer/repairer for immediate start. As a skilled tradesperson, you will be responsible for installing and repairing industrial roller doors across Melbourne.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and repair industrial roller doors, including sectional doors and domestic roller doors
  • Servicing and fabrication/welding of doors and parts
  • Ensure high-quality workmanship and attention to detail in all tasks
  • Work safely and efficiently, with minimal supervision required
  • Identify and rectify potential issues before they become major problems
  • Meet deadlines and work overtime as necessary to meet current demand
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment
  • Develop strong relationships with clients, team members, and office staff through excellent communication skills

Requirements:

  • Relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience
  • Current Australian driver's licence
  • Forklift and scissor lift license
  • White Card certification
  • Experience in a similar industry
  • Excellent time management and self-motivation skills
  • Ability to work on-call after hours
