Urologist Job Opportunity

Seeking an experienced Urologist to provide high-quality evidence-based clinical care to our Urology patients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct patient care for adult and pediatric Urology cases requiring specialist management.
  • Adhere to evidence-based guidelines for delivering exceptional clinical care.
  • Coordinate referrals to other specialists and subspecialties when necessary.
  • Supervise the clinical care provided by junior medical staff, including specialist registrars.
  • Provide on-call services.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
  • A primary medical degree registrable with AHPRA and Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons (Urology), or equivalent overseas training pathways.
  • Recent and comprehensive experience in Urology, demonstrating expertise as a medical professional.
  • Maintain ongoing medical professional development, enabling collaboration and knowledge acquisition with other staff, including trainees.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, facilitating interaction with patients, students, healthcare professionals, and the public.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary framework, networking with stakeholders in various settings.
  • Leadership and management experience, flexibility in coping with changing healthcare systems, and a proven track record of safety and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Commitment to continued professional development, peer review, and other forms of clinical governance.
  • Demonstrated advocacy for improving individual and societal health through contributions to health improvement initiatives.
