We are seeking an exceptional Childcare Professional to lead our After School Care Program in the Ballarat region. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the program, ensuring that it operates in line with our values and brand promises.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for child development and a commitment to providing high-quality care and education to children. They will possess excellent communication and leadership skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with children, families, schools, and communities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of educators to ensure the voice of every child is recognised, quality offerings are provided, and relationships with children, families, schools, and communities are built.
  • Guide children's learning and development.
  • Mentor educators with curriculum direction.
  • Maintain enrolment and medical compliance.
  • Integrate with the school community.
  • Engage with families and uphold the values of Our Patch.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services or equivalent (or working towards/willing to enrol).
  • Employee Working with Children Check (or willing to obtain).
  • Current National Police Check (or willing to obtain).
  • First Aid, Anaphylaxis, Asthma and CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain).
  • Previous Childcare Experience (recommended).
