About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced pharmacist to lead our practitioner development programs statewide. As the Statewide Pharmacy Manager, Education, Research, and Development, you will be responsible for driving innovation and excellence in pharmacy practice across Tasmania.

Duties and Responsibilities

The key duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Leading the expansion of Pharmacist Resident and Registrar training programs
  • Establishing the Tasmanian Health Service as a major centre for pharmacy practice innovation
  • Overseeing a team of Pharmacy Educators who coordinate and provide site-based education across the state's acute public hospitals

Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • Tertiary qualification approved by the Pharmacy Board of Australia or completion of an overseas qualification eligible for skills assessment through the Australian Pharmacy Council
  • Registration with the Pharmacy Board of Australia
