Role Overview:

As the APAC Audit Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution, and oversight of the HSEC Audit protocol and Assurance program across the Asia Pacific area. Your leadership will ensure the successful implementation of the IPL Health, Safety, Environment, and Community Management System (HSECMS). The Lead Auditor will manage all facets of the audit process, guaranteeing comprehensive audits and effective maintenance of the HSECMS.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct functional assurance (auditing) of the IPL HSECMS throughout the Asia Pacific region.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of the IPL HSEC Management System requirements.
  • Demonstrate effective verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in report writing.
  • Engage with personnel at various organizational levels and in diverse cultural settings.
  • Provide coaching, mentoring, and support to enhance adherence to the IPL HSECMS.
  • Exhibit strong organizational and planning capabilities while meeting deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel extensively, with over 50% travel expected across the Asia Pacific region.

What You Will Bring:

  • A commitment to fostering a safe, inclusive, and high-performance workplace culture.
  • Formal qualifications in Health, Safety, Environment, Auditing, or Engineering.
  • Practical experience in auditing and/or within the manufacturing or mining sectors.
  • A solid understanding of local HSEC regulations.
  • High proficiency in IT, particularly with MS Office, SHAERS, and RiskView.
