About the Role

AusNet Services Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Connections Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of our electricity distribution network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the successful connection of major renewable generation and load connections to our regulated electricity distribution network.
  • Identify opportunities to accelerate growth and maximize new connection opportunities.
  • Develop strategies to enable the successful negotiation of new connection opportunities.
  • Manage the energy connections process in accordance with the National Electricity Rules and internal processes.
  • Oversight of end-to-end connection processes for major electricity distribution customers.
  • Maintain effective relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Negotiate major new connections to the electricity distribution network within Victorian Regulatory connection practices.
Requirements
  • Commercially savvy mindset with exposure to commercial and contract negotiations.
  • Demonstrated experience in fostering and managing relationships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of or exposure to Chapter 5 and 5A of the National Electricity Rules.
  • Tertiary qualified, with experience in Electricity Networks and Renewable Energy disciplines.
  • Ability to lead complex technical and commercial issues.
