We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance Reliability team on Afternoon Shift or Night Shift. As a Mechanical Fitter, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the reliability and continuity of our factory that produces some of Australia's most iconic brands.

The successful applicant will have a background in FMCG manufacturing or a willingness to learn about FMCG manufacturing. They will be a qualified mechanical fitter with the right culture fit, a bright attitude, and the willingness to learn within a team environment.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Working independently and proactively on preventive maintenance schedules, attending breakdowns or other assigned tasks.
  • Maintaining, repairing, and installing mechanical equipment.
  • Diagnosing faults, production breakdowns, production start-ups, and operating settings.
  • Communicating with management in relation to equipment and maintenance issues.
  • Providing both food (HACCP) and people safety.
