We are seeking an enthusiastic team member to join our dynamic café team. The ideal candidate will have minimum 1 year of hospitality experience with some barista skills.
About the RoleAs a key member of our café team, you will be passionate about all things coffee and customer service. You will specialise in preparing coffees and other beverages, alongside providing exceptional customer experiences. You must be able to serve all customers in a timely and efficient manner and follow all food safety guidelines.
- Provide top-notch customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all customers.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café, including tables, counters, and kitchen areas.
- Handle cash register duties, process payments accurately, and handle customer inquiries or complaints in a professional manner.
- Support café operations by restocking supplies.
- Manage cash and card transactions.
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Ideal 1 year of cafe team member / barista / hospitality experience.
- Must have flexible availability throughout the week.
- Barista skills and/or food prep knowledge advantageous.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of general café operations in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
