Job Summary

As a WHSEQ Advisor at JCDecaux SA, you will play a critical role in ensuring the company's commitment to safety and well-being of its employees, contractors, and clients. This position requires a strong passion for safety and prior experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Integrated Management System (IMS) Maintenance: Responsible for the ongoing maintenance and delivery of the IMS as it relates to contractors and employees of JCDecaux AU.
  • Field-Based Assurance Exercises: Conduct workplace inspections and behavioural interventions to ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • WHSEQ Activities: Support the delivery of risk management processes, incident investigation, and corrective action close-out.
  • Education and Training: Participate in the development and delivery of educational packages in both office and field-based settings.
  • Accreditation and Compliance: Assist in the delivery of objectives and targets to ensure successful reaccreditation across all applicable ISO and AS/NZS standards.
  • Worker's Compensation Claims: Assist Operational Managers in initial claim management and provide ongoing support to Return to Work Coordinators.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Qualifications in Work Health and Safety or related discipline, or qualifications in Allied Health with occupational experience in WHS.
  • Skills: Demonstrated ability to work in the field to identify risk management solutions, delivery of risk assessments, incident investigation, and development and delivery of training and education.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: High standard of oral and written communication skills, strong ability to prioritize and work self-sufficiently, and proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
