About the Opportunity
As a Civil Development Manager at Pritchard Francis, you will have the chance to take on a challenging role that combines your expertise in civil engineering with project leadership skills. With a focus on land development, you will be working on a diverse range of projects across various sectors.
Your Key Responsibilities
- Civil infrastructure design, including subdivisions, industrial, and commercial projects, with a strong focus on land development.
- Leading projects from technical design and documentation through to completion on site, determining construction methods, materials, and quality standards, and drafting and interpreting specifications, drawings, plans, construction methods, and procedures.
- Monitoring changes to designs, assessing effects on cost, measuring, valuing, and negotiating variations to designs.
- Delivering professional services ensuring that projects are delivered to program, budget, and to the highest quality standard.
- Practicing safety in project design and delivery, supported by quality checking and verification activities.
- Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Liaising with and coordinating various stakeholders, including clients, local councils, and authorities.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5 years' experience as a Civil Engineer.
- The ability to work accurately and efficiently within a busy client-focused team.
- Diverse experience in civil engineering projects, with a key focus on land development in addition to property, civil infrastructure, and transport sectors.
- Local Darwin and Northern Territory project experience is highly regarded.
- Power and Water Corporation experience and accreditation is also highly valued.
- A Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree.
- CPEng or equivalent charted status is preferred but not essential.
