As a Spoil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the management of spoil generated from construction projects.

This involves coordinating excavation, loading, haulage, and disposal activities while ensuring compliance with environmental regulations and alliance policies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement effective spoil management plans to minimize environmental impact.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify suitable disposal locations and methods.
  • Liaise with contractors, consultants, and regulatory authorities to ensure proper documentation and compliance.
  • Monitor and report on spoil volumes and types.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering (i.e. Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineering); 2+ years post qualification experience.
  • Knowledge of relevant environmental legislation and best practices related to excavation and waste management.
  • Industry experience in road, bridges, and/or tunnelling projects with direct experience in spoil management preferred.
