The Mining Professional sought after will have the ability to lead a team and drive projects forward. They must possess technical expertise in underground mining engineering, mine design, scheduling, optimisation, and strategy.

About The Role
  • We are looking for an experienced professional with at least 15 years of experience in operational or consulting roles within the mining industry.
  • Key responsibilities include delivering complex underground mining engineering studies, providing technical leadership, building client relationships, and mentoring junior engineers.

A successful candidate will have a deep understanding of mining project evaluation, technical studies, and financial analysis.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver complex underground mining engineering studies including scoping, PFS, DFS, operational improvement, due diligence.
  • Provide technical leadership in mine design, scheduling, optimisation, and strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Mentor and develop junior and senior mining engineers.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Mining Engineering.
  • Chartered Professional with a recognised professional body (CP/QP).
  • Multi-commodity experience (e.g. gold, lithium, base metals, bulk commodities).
  • International consulting experience.
