Teaching Opportunity in Cyber Security

This role involves delivering course material, assessing students and supervising their progress in selected courses. The successful candidate will play a vital part in maintaining high standards of teaching and assessment.

The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching Cyber Security – beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. They will also possess effective interpersonal and communication skills relevant to teaching environments.

Key Responsibilities

Requirements
  • Experience in teaching Cyber Security
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Substantial discipline knowledge
  • Capacity to diagnose learning problems and propose solutions
  • Ability to work effectively as a member of a team
Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116/TAE40122)
  • A minimum Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) Level 5 Diploma in IT or equivalent
Additional Requirements
  • Experience with Cisco Intro to Cyber Security, Cisco Cyber Essentials, Cisco Junior Security Analyst or Cisco Cyber Ops would be beneficial
  • Ability to travel internationally for occasional work assignments
