Casual Teacher Required

Charlton Christian College is seeking committed Christian educators to join our pool of Casual Teachers. We welcome applicants across a range of subject areas and year levels (Years 5 – 12) who can step into our classrooms and contribute to the life of the College.

We are looking for individuals with a strong desire to contribute to a Christian learning environment, equipped to implement effective teaching and learning, and able to create supportive and safe learning environments.

We require:

  • A personal commitment to the Christian faith, with active involvement in a local church
  • The ability to implement effective teaching and learning
  • A commitment to creating supportive and safe learning environments
  • Professional and respectful engagement with students, colleagues, and families
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work across different year groups or subject areas

Key Responsibilities

  • D deliver pre-prepared lessons as required
  • Maintain positive, orderly and respectful classroom environments
  • Support student wellbeing and engagement
  • Adapt quickly to different classroom settings and school routines
  • Model and uphold the college's Christian values in teaching and interactions
