Beckman Coulter Diagnostics seeks a highly skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team. We're dedicated to advancing and optimizing the laboratory, driving science and healthcare forward.

About the Role

As a Logistics Specialist based in Lane Cove, Australia, you'll work closely with the warehouse manager, overseeing overall warehouse operations. You'll optimize supply chain processes, problem-solve, and ensure seamless coordination between teams to achieve operational goals.

The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, strong leadership and team coordination abilities, excellent problem-solving skills, and proficiency in logistics software and systems. Previous experience in the healthcare industry and certifications in supply chain, warehouse management, or logistics are advantageous.

In this role, you'll develop broad logistics skills, gain exposure across multiple areas within a global company environment, accelerate your career growth, and possibly rotate into other functions and support the APAC region.

  • Support the warehouse L&D manager, coordinating the work of other logistics personnel and ensuring smooth workflow.
  • Develop and implement logistics strategies while monitoring performance metrics to enhance supply chain operations and drive continuous improvement.
  • Work autonomously within established procedures and practices, ensuring compliance with company and regulatory guidelines.
  • Exercise sound judgment to identify and resolve logistical challenges based on experience, industry practices, and precedents.
  • Oversee inventory control and shipment scheduling to ensure accuracy and efficiency in transportation management.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and transportation partners to optimize costs and enhance service levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective coordination of resources and efforts.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and guidance to junior team members, assisting in training and development.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, compliance with international shipping regulations, and adherence to safety standards.
