Our Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Grounds Maintainer to join our team at our newly established 28-bed residential rehabilitation center in Bundaberg.

As a skilled Handyman, you will provide general maintenance services including gardening, cleaning, and light carpentry duties on our large residential site.

  1. You will have a background in Landscaping, Maintenance, and Grounds Keeping, including mowing, weeding, spraying, and general garden upkeep.
  2. You will be competent in maintaining Gardening Equipment and Machinery, as well as the use of basic Power Tools.
  3. You will have a strong understanding of Occupational Health and Safety requirements and compliance.

You will also bring:

  • a friendly and non-judgemental attitude
  • good Emotional Regulation skills with an understanding of De-escalation practices
  • excellent Communication skills and ability to relate to a wide range of people
  • an understanding of the need to maintain Confidentiality of clients

A relevant qualification would be highly desirable, but relevant experience and a great attitude are what's most important to us.

You will need to have a current, valid Australian Drivers Licence and a National Police Check.
