AI Research Video Generation Lead

Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled AI Research Scientist to lead our video generation initiatives. In this role, you'll spearhead the development of cutting-edge models that transform text and images into high-quality videos.

You will be responsible for setting strategic research direction, coaching others to deliver impactful scientific contributions, and ensuring the translation of research into meaningful product capabilities.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who is passionate about cultivating talent, shaping a research vision, and partnering cross-functionally to embed cutting-edge AI into delightful user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

Team Leadership: Coach and mentor a team of research scientists specializing in video generation.

Strategic Direction: Define research agendas aligned with business goals, particularly in AI-driven video creation.

Technical Oversight: Guide the development of models utilizing diffusion transformers, GANs, and autoregressive architectures for video and audio synthesis.

Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering and product teams to integrate research outcomes into products.

Thought Leadership: Represent the organization in the AI research community through publications, conferences, and open-source contributions.

Requirements:

Proven experience leading research teams in AI video or related areas.

Demonstrated expertise in machine learning techniques pertinent to video synthesis, such as diffusion models and GANs.

A strong track record of translating research into scalable, user-facing products.

Ability to set strategic research directions and align them with business objectives.

Effective communication skills to articulate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.
