The Role
The Clinical Nurse position provides advanced clinical and problem-solving skills, expert planning, and coordination skills in the clinical management of CYMHS patients/residents/clients with complex care needs, ensuring quality standards are met.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialist nursing care to children and young people up to 18 years old experiencing severe and complex mental health disorders or at risk of developing such issues.Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide expert advice on complex cases.Maintain accurate records and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will possess:
- A relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a Registered Nurse and possession of a current annual licence certificate.
- A postgraduate qualification or currently enrolled in a postgraduate program in a relevant area of study is highly desirable.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Ability to work all shifts in accordance with the unit roster.
