About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Draftsperson to join our team at Recruit Shop. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a crucial role in the success of our projects by developing detailed drawings and models from concept to manufacturing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed drawings and models for engineering projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely completion of drawings and meet project goals
  • Prepare bills of material and material take-offs
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices
Requirements
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in an engineering/drafting role
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, NX, Solidworks, PDM & Microsoft suites
  • Ability to develop drawings and models from start to finish
  • Knowledge of mechanical design & steel fabrication
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Formal qualification in drafting
