The Quality Compliance Lead is a critical position responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring quality and compliance systems across a portfolio of retirement living communities.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks such as the Retirement Villages Act, Work Health and Safety (WHS) legislation, privacy laws, and other relevant regulations.
- Monitor legislative changes and communicate key updates to stakeholders.
- Lead audit processes, accreditation reviews, and incident investigations.
- Maintain and review policies, procedures, and compliance documentation.
- Oversee risk assessments and corrective actions to support operational teams.
- Drive Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives for resident safety and wellbeing.
- Provide training to village managers on regulatory obligations and quality standards.
- Tertiary qualification in Health, Community Services, Quality Management, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role within retirement living, aged care, or human services.
- Expertise in auditing, compliance management, and continuous improvement.
- Strong knowledge of retirement living legislation and regulatory frameworks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to support and influence teams.
- Proven ability to manage incidents and drive risk mitigation strategies.
- Advanced time management, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
