Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Systems Designer to join our team. As a Systems Designer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing secure system logging and monitoring solutions.

Duration: 24-month contract + possible extensions

Clearance: NV2 (must be Australian citizen)

Purpose: This role is critical in enabling advanced detection and response capabilities for complex ICT environments.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and prototype systems with a focus on SIEM logging and monitoring (Splunk)
  • Translate security controls (PSPF, ISM) into engineering tasks
  • Document system infrastructure and processes
  • Support Authority to Operate (ATO) certification
  • Engage with stakeholders to ensure security, scalability, and efficiency

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cyber Systems Engineering, or related
  • Experience with SIEM (Splunk), scripting (PowerShell/Python)
  • Hyper-converged infrastructure knowledge
  • Policy and controls compliance experience
  • Systems design and engineering expertise
