Home Care Support Worker Job

We are seeking a highly motivated, caring individual to join our team in the role of Home Care Support Worker. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing quality services and support to individuals aged 65 and above, helping them to maintain their independence and stay connected with their community.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and making a positive impact on people's lives.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing respite care and domestic assistance to individuals in their own homes;
  • Assisting with personal care and other social services;
  • Working collaboratively with clients, carers and other stakeholders to achieve goals and outcomes.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • A Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Home and Community Care;
  • Experience working in a similar field, with a strong understanding of the needs of older people and their carers;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A patient and compassionate approach when working with clients and their families.

This is a permanent part-time position, working up to 30 hours per fortnight. You will be based in one of our offices in Bendigo, Maryborough, Kerang or Echuca.

This role has been classified under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award (Home Care Employees) Level 4.2 with an hourly rate of $33.51.
