Welcome to Big Fat Smile Group LTD, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing exceptional early education and care services to thousands of children and families across Australia.



We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Acting Fun Club Director to join our team at Fairy Meadow Demonstration School. This is a fixed-term, Full Time opportunity to work during Before and After School Care and Vacation Care, Monday to Friday.



About the Role

As a Fun Club Director, you will play a critical role in shaping young minds and creating happy, healthy relationships between children and their families. You will bring fun, laughter, and play to each day, and most importantly, create magical moments for children to experiment and grow.



Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and implement engaging and inclusive programs for children aged 5-12 years
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with children, families, and community members
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to ensure a safe and supportive learning environment
  • Manage and supervise a team of educators and support staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:




  • A cleared valid for paid work, Working With Children Check (WWCC)
  • Hold all required qualifications to be a Nominated Supervisor (or willing to obtain)
  • Experience as a support worker, SLSO, OOSH Educator/2IC, or engagement with school-aged children
  • Commitment to making sure the children in our care are safe and healthy
  • Dedication to improving the lives and minds of children, families, and the community
  • A fun-loving attitude and big smile
