Job Description

We are seeking an experienced professional to support children's access and engagement through case management, assessment, and collaborative partnerships with families, staff, and external agencies. This role involves providing evidence-based support for teachers and educators to build knowledge and practical skills in specialist behaviour support.

The successful candidate will have a passion for achieving long-lasting, high-quality outcomes for children, their families, and the community. They will bring a team-player mindset and be committed to guiding children's early learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide face-to-face, evidence-based support for teachers and educators
  • Enhance and develop educators' professional toolkit for understanding the function of, and strategies to, positively guide a range of behaviours
  • Work with our teams to ensure current policies and strategic documents reflect best practice
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in early childhood or related field
  • Completed coursework Masters in guidance and counselling or equivalent qualification
  • General or provisional registration as a psychologist through AHPRA Psychology Board or APAC-accredited qualification
  • Minimum two years full-time Early Childhood teaching experience
  • Current membership of Queensland Guidance and Counselling Association (QGCA)
  • Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card
  • Current Police Check
