Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Lead to spearhead the development of data warehouses and lead high-performing teams. As a key stakeholder, you will be responsible for driving business outcomes through technical expertise and collaboration.

This role is perfect for an individual with strong backend development skills in data warehouses, coupled with excellent communication skills to articulate complex data insights to various stakeholders.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Data / Business Intelligence, with relevant certifications advantageous
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience, including people management
  • Strong understanding of IT concepts, frameworks, and strategies, including system development lifecycle
  • Ability to propose end-to-end BI solutions
  • Proficiency in SQL Server database development, data warehousing, database administration (T-SQL, SSIS, Query Optimization, Stored Procedures, Views, Jobs, Backup Strategy)
  • Strong data modeling skills, able to create self-service data models for business users (SSAS Tabular, Power BI, and/or PowerPivot)
  • Ability to design and build reporting solutions and data visualization (SSRS, Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or other reporting tools)
  • Advanced data analysis experience (including use of Excel, Pivot tables, VBA, etc)
  • Ability to prepare data for analytics (extract, clean, combine, model, profile etc)
  • Experience in Data Migration projects beneficial
  • Experience with cloud database / data technologies (Azure, AWS) beneficial
