Job Details

We are seeking a medical professional to fill the position of AFRM Trainee Registrar/CMO.

Job Description:

  • This is a temporary full-time and part-time position that involves managing patients on a 34-bed rehabilitation ward.
  • Key responsibilities include participating in case mix, being on call alternate Friday nights, and communicating with patients and their families about their rehabilitation and ongoing goals.
  • The successful candidate will work closely with a team of Registrars, Rehabilitation Physicians, Rheumatologists, and Geriatricians to provide high-quality patient care.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Medical degree and current registration with AHPRA.
  • Postgraduate clinical experience, including at least 2 years.
  • Relevant clinical practice experience, including management of orthopaedic, neurological, and medical conditions.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to work effectively within a team environment.
