About the Position
We are seeking a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our Forensic Mental Health Court Services team. The successful candidate will provide expert clinical consultation and assessment services to the court system, supporting individuals within the justice system who require specialised mental health intervention and care.

Key Responsibilities
This role involves clinical assessment and completion of court reports, including referrals of consumers appearing in Magistrates Courts in South Australia to appropriate services. You will assist the magistrates courts by providing advice and assistance concerning consumers who are to appear before the courts, with the aim to ensure appropriate orders and outcomes occur.

Requirements
To be eligible for this position, you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate, enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice. A strong background in forensic mental health experience, clinical assessment skills and the ability to work effectively within the justice system framework is essential in this challenging yet rewarding role.
