About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and team-oriented Civil Designer to help build and grow our Civil Engineering capability in response to the massive investment in infrastructure in Perth.

This is a great opportunity for the right candidate to grow their career in civil engineering, working on transport infrastructure projects in various markets.

Our Perth business provides civil and structural engineering services, among others, for transport infrastructure projects. Our technical experts are driven by a passion to help clients achieve their goals and improve society for today and future generations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake Civil Design requirements on various projects, including road design, earthworks, carparks, paths, intersections, drainage, traffic management, and grade-separated interchanges.
  • Deliver Civil Design model outputs to the requirements of clients, drafters, and designers.
  • Ensure quality and accurate model outputs in accordance with Civil standards and project requirements.

About You

  • Working knowledge and understanding of Austroads, Australian Standards, and Road Authority requirements for road geometry design.
  • Passion for learning and seeking feedback to ensure professional and technical career development.
  • Good understanding of civil and road engineering principles, road geometry design process, and road safety considerations and requirements.
  • Proficient in the use of one or more road design software packages, with a preference for Open Roads Designer, Civil 3D, and/or 12D.
  • Proficient in the use of drafting software packages, such as AutoCAD and Microstation, including vehicle tracking software.
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in the design and delivery of road and highway infrastructure projects.
  • Good understanding of BIM/DE requirements and deliverables.
  • Effective communication skills.
